Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey, Sheila Oliver suffered a medical event then she was hospitalized at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston on 31 July 2023. But after so many efforts of doctors, she couldn’t be alive and passed away at the age of 71 on 1 August 2023 at the hospital.
She was helpless to not perform her duties and she transferred the acting governor powers to Senate President Nick Scutari in her last days before she passed.
