Travis Hunter is an American football cornerback and wide receiver. He plays for the Colorado Buffaloes. He played for the Jackson State Tiger. When he committed to Jackson State, he became the highest-ranked prospect to ever commit to an HBCU or FCS program in December 2021.

On 16 September 2023, Travis Hunter got injured during a game against Colorado State in the night. He was taken to the hospital during the third quarter for an evaluation. He suffered from a powerful blow to the chest that hit Travis.

“We’re going to do what we’ve got do to take care of him. So I know Travis like a book, he probably is going to want to be out for two weeks, but we’ve got to make sure his health is more important than this game.”

Travis could be back as early as 7 October 2023. It depends on Travis’ injury. However, currently, his injury update has not come out yet.
