Phillip Schofield has been pictured meeting up with former This Morning co-star Vanessa Feltz.
The new pictures mark the first time the ITV programme’s former host has been seen with a colleague since he stepped down in May, when he confirmed having an affair with a teenage male runner on the show.
The 61-year-old greeted his ex-colleague amorously, pecking her on the cheek before they enjoyed a meal out at Chiswick’s Little Bird together.
TalkTV host Vanessa has been vocal in her support for Phillip and for This Morning during the drama behind the scenes.
Today it was claimed a “large number” of current and former ITV employees have made allegations about a toxic working culture on daytime shows including This Morning, an MP has said
The House of Commons media committee has received allegations of harassment, bullying and discrimination, according to its chair Dame Caroline Dinenage.
The claims have been made since the MPs questioned ITV’s boss in June.
The broadcaster’s chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall appeared before the committee following the fallout.
That sparked allegations from people including Dr Ranj Singh, who used to regularly present segments on This Morning, of a wider toxic culture at the programme.
In a letter published today, Dame Caroline Dinenage told the ITV boss she and other committee members had been contacted by a “large number of individuals” in the weeks after her appearance in Parliament.
“These individuals speak with great pride about working at ITV and are hugely positive about many of their colleagues,” Dame Caroline said.
“However, they also raise claims of toxic working cultures, bullying, discrimination and harassment.”
It comes as Phillip previously shared a post where he “noticed” that it was the “same handful of people” with a “grudge” against him and the show.
In an update on Instagram, Phillip wrote: “Now I no longer work on @thismorning I am free to say this.
“I hope you have noticed that it’s the same handful of people with a grudge against me or the show who seem to have the loudest voice.
“This Morning IS the best show to work on, with the best people. In all the years I worked there there was no toxicity.
“You can listen to those persistently loud voices if you like.
“But the thousands of guests over the years, thousands of staff and crew, hundreds of presenters and contributors all know, it IS a family of wonderful, talented, kind and hardworking people.”
