This is the aftermath of a Russian missile attack on a kindergarten in western Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin’s forces launched the strike on the city of Lviv, about 60 miles from the border with Poland and Nato territory.
Mayor Andriy Sadovyi confirmed that the nursery was incinerated in the overnight attack, injuring four people.
He said the explosion damaged more than 100 apartments in nearby residential buildings.
‘Many missiles were shot down, but there were also hits in Lviv,’ Mr Sadovyi said, adding that orders were given to evacuate at least one burning building.
Footage shared on Telegram shows a crater-like hole in front of a badly damaged block of flats.
