Millie Bobby Brown’s Lioness video baffles fans ahead of World Cup final

The 19-year-old star was shown fronting a special short video in which she praised the record-breaking national team for being ‘strong, courageous and unstoppable’ as she stated: ‘We see them.’

‘No helping hand to get to the top, at times almost silenced – almost,’ she added in a dramatic voice over, which played while a montage of the team’s journey to the final was shown ahead of kick-off.

‘And yet, each one carries the roar deep inside, that force of nature, that voice of hope, that determination, that skill, that leadership, that power.’

‘And so they overcome, they surprise, they reunite, they suvivie they find a way – and always, they bring a little magic,’ she added.

‘We see them, they are all of us, they are the best of us, ready to take the final step, the biggest they’ll ever take.

‘Here in this moment, now is their time – we see them.’

It’s safe to say though, that she was not necessarily the celebrity people expected to pop up in association with the England women’s team.

‘Millie Bobby Brown on the pre World Cup final reel was a jump scare I didn’t need this morning,’ joked one viewer on social media, as another asked: ‘millie bobby brown what are you doing here?’

‘millie bobby brown wasnt the 11 i expected to see this game,’ added another.
