A debate will be held on the no-trust motion moved by the Opposition in parliament on the ongoing ethnic-clashes in Manipur next week.
Officials said the debate will be held on August 8 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reply to the no-confidence motion in the House on August 10.
The violence in Manipur has been a key reason for the continuous logjam in both the Houses of Parliament since the Monsoon Session began on July 20.
The Opposition argues that they will win the battle of perception by cornering the government on the Manipur issue during the debate.
Earlier, the government had said that Home Minister Amit Shah will reply to the debate on the Manipur situation.
