Her career highlights include the 2018 flash flooding incident on Kauai’s north coast, which established a new national record for the greatest rainfall in a 24-hour period as well as reporting on former President Barack Obama’s multiple trips to Hawaii.

Also notable was the 2018 eruption of Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano. She is also a member of the Asian American Journalists Association. She also works as a trained dancer. She enjoys eating, traveling, and walking her senior dog when she is not working.

She also acts as a “Big Sister” to her mentee through the Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii program. She has also gone hang gliding and skydiving. She does, however, appreciate sleeping; “I am the queen of naps.”
